Job Information

We are looking for an honest and very friendly, big strong individual who enjoys work and will move fast when needed. This position involves:

  • Maintain inventory in our warehouse
  • Delivery to clients, tracking vendor orders
  • Auto maintenance
  • Clean, pull/pack/ship stock and assemble furniture
  • Use of industrial saws to slit foam and perform heavy lifting
  • Custom cutting foam for cushions, mattress, and packaging right here in our solar-powered San Francisco factory
  • Ability to contribute to all aspects of the store – The idea of “it’s not my job” is never an option.

You will be entering this company at the ground level, and we promote quickly after you have demonstrated competence, honesty (taking responsibility for your mistakes), and a deep understanding of our operation.

Qualifications/Experience
  • Valid California driver’s license and no points on your record required
  • Comfortable driving a Uhaul size box truck and van also required
  • Prior experience with furniture assembly and delivery would be a major plus
  • Proficiency in English

Compensation Information Base Salary for this position is negotiable depending on experience but typically $21,000-$35,000/yr + overtime ($10.50/hr during training period). This position gets a lot of $$ tips from customers. We use a successful pay scale model which is to bring in people at a lower rate (like a training wage) but promote them as they demonstrate their value. Furthermore, we offer paid vacation, family medical and dental benefits and chiropractic. These begin after 6 months.
