Job: Patternmaker: Women’s Apparel / Bridal & Special Occasion Dresses

Beverley E. Siri, Inc., nationally known for their special occasion dresses and bridal gowns, seeks a first through production patternmaker. This is a part-time position. Siri, as the label is known, produces their dresses in their own SF factory which are distributed to over 100 top retailers throughout the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities: 
Developing each new pattern from draping and from pre-existing patterns
Fitting along with the designer on model
Perfecting and finalizing pattern
Preparing pattern for computer grading
Checking computer grading
Ability to grade manually when needed
Editing pattern for larger sizes if necessary
Producing special size patterns in company styles for customers needing a special fit

Extensive experience developing first patterns for dresses and gowns
Proficient in fitting
Basic knowledge of Excel and Word
Clear and concise communication skills: verbal and written
Precise and detailed in execution and direction
Organized and productive
