Job Information

Recchiuti Confections seeks an enthusiastic, hard-working, friendly, self-motivated, and caring person to join our retail team November through December.  There is potential for the position to continue beyond the holiday season based on Recchiuti’s staffing needs.

Responsibilities

Our Team Members are expected to:

  • Have a full knowledge of our products and extended services.
  • Present of the highest levels of customer service.
  • Handle multi-tasking and high-volume foot traffic with ease.
  • Be able to interact appropriately and effectively with all levels of customers, as well as with team members and management companywide.
  • Build relationships with internal staff and external customers.
  • Provide customer follow-up and ensure customer retention.
  • Project the company history and standards by ensuring adherence to policies and procedures while striving to exceed sales plans.
  • Treat all people as they would like to be treated, presenting the highest degree of professionalism.
  • Team Members may be expected to drive a company van to various locations in the Bay Area.
Qualifications/Experience

Qualifications:

  • Must have retail experience.
  • Must have basic cashier experience and proficiency in balancing a cash drawer when closing a store.
  • Must be strong and able-bodied – able to lift heavy objects, be on one’s feet all day, and move quickly.
  • Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
  • Be able to work well with others.
  • Enjoy interaction with the public – must be a true “people person”.
  • Have very strong communication skills.
  • Be able to self-motivate, to work quickly and efficiently, and to meet deadlines.
  • Have attention to detail, strong organizational skills.
  • Have an interest in the fine food industry and the desire to learn more.
  • Have a flexible schedule.
  • Full time availability during holidays a must.
  • Must be fluent in English, ability to speak other languages a plus.
  • Be computer proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook).
