Empowering manufacturers. Creating jobs. Transforming our city.

SFMade’s Places to Make suite of services are designed to help local manufacturers make the best use of one of their most important – and expensive – assets: their urban industrial space. Places to Make services are uniquely tailored to the special needs of – and opportunities for- manufacturers, who seek to locate new, expanded, or start-up space for production, distribution, and related retail operations in the City limits of San Francisco.

Program elements:

Identify, Transact and Activate Space:
SFMade will work with you to find the industrial space – to lease or to buy – that is ideally suited to your needs. We begin the process by listening to understand your specific needs and then work together to ideate an effective real estate strategy. We will identify all candidate spaces that best suit your needs and then assist in the transaction process to ensure we structure and negotiate the most advantageous lease or purchase to achieve your objectives. SFMade will also work with you to activate your space – ensure you obtain all necessary approvals/permits and oversee the project from start-to-finish.
