SFMade’s Places to Make Services are designed to help local manufacturers make the best use of one of their most important – and expensive – assets: their urban industrial space. Places to Make services are uniquely tailored to the special needs of — and opportunities for — manufacturers, who seek to locate new, expanded, or start-up space for production, distribution, and related retail operations in the City limits of San Francisco.
Specific program elements include:
• Finding industrial/commercial space. SFMade, which carries our own commercial real estate license, works with you to find the space – to lease or to buy – that is ideally suited to your needs. Whether you need a 10,000 sqft industrial pace or 500 sqft to get started, we can help. • Lease Negotiation (or re-Negotiation). SFMade will help you review lease terms and help you get the most for your investment.
• Capital for Real Estate. Sourcing capital for real estate purchase, tenant improvements, and equipment. We have special knowledge of loan programs, including both State and Federal loan guarantee programs, dedicated for industrial businesses and the most experienced lenders in the community for these special products.
