Aby’s Upholstery is a local upholstery shop founded by Abigail Figueroa-Vera in 2003. We provide custom upholstery services for both residential and commercial spaces in the Bay Area of Northern California.

Nestled in the heart of Silicon Valley, Aby’s Upholstery has grown from humble roots on Monterrey Rd. to its current address where our workshop and showroom reside on Horning St.

The position

Aby’s Upholstery is seeking an experienced upholsterer to join our team. This position is focused on high-quality residential upholstery projects.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional upholstery experience

• Upholstering residential furniture (chairs, sofas, benches, cushions)

• Foam cutting, shaping, and replacement

• Measuring, cutting, and sewing cushions

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Spanish is spoken on our shop floor and within the team

This is a hands-on position. Candidates will be asked to complete a skills assessment before being hired.
