The same AI tools that write your product listings are writing everyone else's, and every shop is starting to sound the same. When polish is free, what your customer still pays for is the story only you can tell and the taste only a human can bring. That is where the gap is, and it is where a maker's advantage lives.

This session is about finding that gap on purpose. Where does your shop sit on the AI mindset spectrum, from skeptic to enthusiast? Which parts of your craft should stay in human hands, and which can you hand off without losing what makes you you? Looking a few horizons out, what future are you building toward? You'll leave with a simple set of questions to run on your own process, from product copy to order forecasting, and a clearer picture of the direction you want to take.

Expect live polls, real examples, and something you can use the same week. The goal is not to make you an AI expert. It is to help you choose your future before it chooses you.

Wan-Jou (Angelique) Lee is a Manager at EY Studio+ and a Human + AI Experience Strategist and Futurist, where she leads human-centered AI adoption and experience strategy work for industrial and manufacturing clients, turning AI strategy into executive narrative. Trained as an industrial designer, she holds an MBA in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts and is a Certified Microsoft AI Transformation Leader. In her free time, she runs Practice in Gray, a small calligraphy studio. She serves as a Volunteer Strategic Advisor to SFMade.
